Beyond the Cash Award

Through the Soroptimist Live Your Dream Awards, SIA reaches tens of thousands of women across its countries and territories. But there is still more that can be done to further increase the quality in the lives of the award recipients and also improve the standard of living for these women and their families, beyond a one-time cash award.

Soroptimists understand the importance of ongoing support and encouragement to women in ways that deepen the initial impact and go even further to fulfill our mission. With help from our members, supporters, aand donors, we are continuing to make dreams come true for womenand girls.

This past year, our club, Soroptimist International of Palm Desert embraced the concept by Going Beyond the Cash Award,

WOW what a difference we made by sending kids to summer camp, ballet and swim lessons. Connecting again over the Holiday with Amazon Gift Cards for their families.

Mentoring these women is a source of great JOY.
